On Wednesday, June 12th, Dior Parfum celebrated the launch of the new Miss Dior fragrance in Egypt. In collaboration with ELLE Egypt, a selected crowd of 40 celebrities, socialites, and businesswomen, joined regional Parfum Christian Dior Communications Manager Genwa Minato and Dior brand manager Egypt Salma Eissa, Managing Director Chalhoub Egypt Hanan Darwish and General Manager Chalhoub Egypt Shereen Assal alongside ELLE Egypt Editor in Chief Susan Sabet for a cocktail and seated dinner at the trendy The Smokery restaurant at Katameya Heights, to be immersed in a true Dior experience, from a fragrance bar to a flower pop-up or a photo booth with The Sinatras adding life entertainment for a very classy affair.
Among everyone’s favorite stars, Dorra Zarrouk, Hind Sabri and Lara Scandar arrived at the event after being glammed with Dior make-up by celeb favorite local makeup artist Shariff Tanyous. The latter two shined just like Amina Khalil, super elegant in Dior from head to toe.
Actress Passant Shawky, young rising actress Hager El Sarrag and model Mai Yackout joined the other celebrities and stylists Sahar and Maissa Azab posing in front of the perfume scented flower wall while society ladies Eman and Marwa Said, Esmat El Nahass, style coach Sahar Kadry and TV host Noha Abdelaziz got a spray of Miss Dior at the fragrance bar.
Jewelry icon Azza Fahmy was spotted in conversation with interior designers Mona Hussein and Nermine Mokhtar, while another corner saw the new gen of entrepreneurs of the likes of Tamara el Tanani, Karima El Hakim and Maram Aboul Enein rub shoulders with their peers including Christiane Abdallah, Ghada El Wakil, Indji Ghattas and Fatma Lotfi.
Once ready to be seated guests very much to their delight were treated to a personalized Miss Dior perfume bottle engraved with their initials before enjoying a specially devised 3-course menu. Final farewells went well into midnight, ending a very elegant evening that just like the Miss Dior scent, will linger on in guests’ memories for a very long time.
